Easter 2014
As we now that Easter 2014 is on its way people and specially Christian Community are very keen to now the exact dates of Easter 2014. As we all now that Easter is a movable feast and Easter Day use to come on a different date every year due to certain reasons which we will disscuss below. But the most accurate and expected dates for the Easter 2014 are as follow.
February 22 - Ash Wednesday
April 1 - Palm Sunday
April 5 - Maundy (Holy) Thursday
April 6 - Good Friday
April 8 - Easter Sunday (Western Christianity - Roman Catholic, Anglican Communion, Protestant Churches, etc.)
April 15 - Easter Sunday (Orthodox Christianity - Eastern Orthodox Churches)
In Western Christianity, Easter is always celebrated on the Sunday immediately following the Paschal Full Moon. Easter is always celebrated on the Sunday immediately following the first full moon after the vernal (spring) equinox. This statement was true in 325 AD, when it was established by the Council of Nicea. However, the course of history has modified the meaning of this instruction, and therefore, a clearer, more accurate explanation is necessary today.
At the end of this post i would like to say that whatever the dates of Easter 2014 will be in your part of land, just celebrate it with your friends, family and others specially do remember those who are needy and helpless. Please make this Easter 2014 a Historical Eater for the world we can give a messege through this Easter 2014 celebration in a very productive manner that we the Christians are peaceful, loving and caring for everyone and we are not from those who cares about race and religions. Have a very Happy Easter 2014.
